So
the last day of 2013 and I am going to tell you the best line-up of 2013.
Here
it is.
Goalkeeper:
Manuel
Neuer - Bayern Munich, Germany
It
was easy to choose the German keeper as Iker Casillas could not play due to
problems and Petr Cech and Joe Hart have been struggling. Gianluigi Buffon is
playing good and he is becoming better with age but Neuer played an important part
in the Bayern Munich’s treble last season o he deserved this spot.
Defenders:
Philipp Lahm
- Right Back - Bayern Munich, Germany
Lahm,
captain of Germany and Bayern Munich is everyone’s favourite. Lahm can also
play as a left back and a defensive midfielder, He was also the part of Bayern
Munich’s last season’s treble.
Thiago Silva
- Center back - Paris St. Germain, Brazil
Silva
who moved to France to join Paris Saints Germain in 2012 summer has faced lot
of injury troubles in 2013. But when he is fit PSG have a better conceding
record. Silva won the Confederation Cup in June with Brazil.
Vincent Kompany
- Center back - Manchester City, Belgium
Club
and country’s captain Kompany is a complete defender like John Terry. He has not
showed us the best and is like Pirlo who is getting better with age.
David Alaba
- Left Back - Bayern Munich, Austria
The
21-year-old young full-back was the first ever Austrian to lift the Champions
League trophy. It is a surprise to listen that he was the top goal scorer for
Austria in the World Cup qualification.
Midfielders:
Bastian Schweinsteiger
- Center Midfielder - Bayern Munich, Germany
No
doubt that this man deserved to be in this line-up. He has played his whole
life for only Bayern Munich and achieved everything with them.
Cristiano Ronaldo
- Right Midfielder - Real Madrid, Portugal
Ronaldo
currently 2nd La Liga top scorer. Ronaldo is leading the race to win Ballon d’Or
according to rumours. He has proved this year with both club and the country.
Portugal will play World Cup just because of him.
Franck Ribery
- Left Midfielder - Bayern Munich, France
Another
Bayern Munich’s player, who was also the part of last season’s treble. He is
also the favourite to win Ballon d’Or.
Gareth Bale
- Attacking Midfielder - Real Madrid, Wales
World’s
most expensive player Gareth Bale is a speedy winger he can also play as an
attacking midfielder, Real Madrid have bought him to fill Ronaldo’s shoes in
the future.
Strikers:
Luis Suarez
- Forward - Liverpool, Uruguay
Topscorer of Premier League this season with 19 goals. He scored 29 goals in 2013
with Liverpool. A magical and exceptional striker who is fond of his nutmeg. He
bit Chelsea’s defender Branislav Ivanović at the end of last season but still
deserves this line-up.
Lionel Messi – Forward - FC Barcelona, Argentina
Currently
injured due to hamstring injury, he will return in January according to
reports. His overall record with Barcelona is exceptional. He still hasn’t won
anything with Argentina.
