Olivier
Giroud was left frustrated after the Hull game as he watch the whole game from
the bench but accepts that rest is very important and it plays an important
role.
The
27 year old is hoping to help the Gunners to restart their winning streak in
their final Champions League group match against the Italian side Napoli tomorrow
night.
But
the French striker optimisms that Nicklas Bendtner's first goal of the season against
Hull City, will give him a boost in the upcoming games.
Giroud
is enjoying his life in London. The French man has scored 10 goals in 19 appearances
for the Emirates side this season.
Giroud
said that it did feel strange (to watch a game from bench) and he was a bit
frustrated because he wants to play every match.
But
Wenger said that he had reason to bench him because rest is important, but he
is obviously really happy that the team won the three points.
Arsenal
will need to show their top game against Rafael Benitez’s team at Stadio San
Paolo, who will be fighting to get the three points in order to qualify for
next stage.
Arsenal are three points clear at the top of Group F which means they just need a point
to secure their place in the round of 16.
If
Arsenal lose then their qualification will depend on other results. Borussia
Dortmund who are on 2nd with nine points will face Marseille this
Wednesday.
