Latest news from Tottenham Hotspur: Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has been sacked from his position after the worst defeat at home from Liverpool.

After a dismal season and a bad run, in which the Spurs have only won one game out of six, it seems tensions have hit boiling point a White Hart Lane.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy who asked to have an urgent meeting with the Spurs boss, decided enough was enough and came to an agreement with Villas-boas to terminate his contract immediatly.

According to a statement released by Spurs Officials, it was a mutual agreement between both parties.

All of this has come in the wake of Tottenham’s recent poor form and the devastating 5-0 loss to Liverpool on Sunday.

While Spurs are without a replacement at this current time, rumours have been circulating that Daniel Levy has been making a shortlist of potential replacements for a while now, those including Michael Laudrup, former boss Glenn Hoddle and headed Argentine, 'El Loco' Marcelo Bielsa. For now, Academy Director Tim Sherwood will likely take over coaching the first team while Daniel Levy and Franco Baldini seek a replacement.

The fans and players are not suprised by this decision as the chairman voiced his disapointment six days ago and hinting that things need to change at White Hart Lane.
