Red Devils boss David Moyes has said that there
is no plan to rest United’s in-form forward Wayne Rooney, he needs to play most
of the matches.
Rooney is in great form for United and England. He has
made 22 appearances for both the club and country and netted 10 goals. But Moyes
told that he is on fire and it will be difficult to play without him, recently
he assisted four goals in a Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen.
Moyes told that there are many teams who are playing
their players regularly without a rest. So when they will feel Rooney is
dropping from his standard then they will rotate it otherwise there is no need
to give a rest to a top player.
Moyes said that he is following former United gaffer Sir
Alex Ferguson as it was his opinion that Rooney needs to play every game to
maintain his form.
United manager further said that he is a boy who improves
in every game. The point is that he wants to keep him playing as well as he is playing
good. If he keeps playing like that then there is nothing to worry about.
Moyes has moved the Englishman to a whole new level by
giving him the responsibility of set pieces. He added that he is enthusiastic to
learn and works with the assistant manager Steve Round on his set-pieces every
day.
