A bad news for Tottenham: Christian Eriksen injured. Christian Eriksen picked up an ankle injury during his international duty with Denmark in a 2-1 win over Norway yesterday. He will miss many important games as Tottenham are due to face the top Premier League sides before the end of 2013 year.

Christian Eriksen picked up an ankle injury during his international duty with Denmark in a 2-1 win over Norway yesterday.



The 21-year-old midfielder stayed on the pitch only for 40 minutes, after which he watched the rest of the match from the bench with an ice pack on his ankle.

The outlook of the injury does not look good according to reports, he will return to London for further treatment by the medical staff of Spurs.

According to Denmark Morten Olsen the young playmaker could be out of action for a long period.

Coach told that they don't know if Eriksen is out for a month or more than that or how long it will take. He further added that it is really bad for him at a new club.

Eriksen, who left Ajax for Spurs in the last transfer window is now poised to miss important games at home as well as away from home.

Spurs have to face Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Southampton in the Premier League before Christmas, while they will also face West Ham United in the quarter final of Capital One Cup and Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala in Europa League.
