Manchester United and England international Wayne
Rooney has described that he has never seen such best attacking line up for
England in the last 10 years.
Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge, Manchester United’s
Danny Welbeck and Tottenham’s Jermain Defoe are the attackers included in
England squad. England will play against Montenegro and Poland at Wembley in
the next seven days and if England win these then they will qualify from Group
H.
Rooney added, Sturridge is in outstanding form for
Liverpool scoring goals and playing great football. Sturridge has scored 19
goals in 26 games for Liverpool since his arrival from Chelsea in January and
is currently the top goal scorer in the Barclays Premier League in this new campaign
of 2013-2014. The former Everton forward has said that he is ready to strike up
a productive partnership with Sturridge if asked to do so by England manager
Roy Hodgson.
Rooney is sure that if they play together they can
easily overcome the defense of other teams by linking up, creating chances and scoring
goals.
The 26 year old forward thinks that these are the two
most important matches for him as Ukraine and Montenegro are just one point
behind England. And Poland is also not very far just 3 points behind the top
team that is England, who has earned 16 points in 8 games.
