According to Edinson Cavani’s father, Cavani is set
to rule out a move to Premier league for the Spanish giants Real Madrid. The 26
year old Napoli striker is targeted by Madrid as a replacement of Gonzalo
Higuain who might be joining Juventus.
Odil Akhmedov’s agent has confirmed that his client Odil
Akhmedov is being targeted by Premier League side Arsenal. The 25 year old Anzhi
star midfielder has showed his interest in joining Arsenal.
West Ham United are interested in resigning the 28
year old striker Demba Ba from Chelsea. Ba scored only 2 goals in 14 games for
Chelsea, and looks unsettled. New Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is looking for
new strikers, Edinson Cavani and Andre Schurrle are on his list, which shows
that Ba will be having a tough time next season as Mourinho is not giving importance
to the Senegal international.
Walter Samuel has signed a one year contract with
Inter Milan. The 35 year old Argentinian is the second veteran Inter defender
who commit himself to Inter after Javier Zanetti, who also signed a one year deal
on Wednesday.
Sunderland manager Paolo Di Cano is keen on landing
the 22 year old striker Abel Hernandez, according to the player’s agent. Whereas,
Italian club Parma are also interested in the Uruguayan striker.
Spanish starlet Isco is being linked to Real Madrid
and Manchester City, he admitted that both options are good. City are set to
hire new manager Manuel Pellegrini, according to speculation Isco wants to
follow his former manager. The 21 year old is currently a part of Spain under
21 team in UEFA championship Israel 2013.
Hungry international Zoltan Gera is still holding
talks over his future with West Bromwich Albion and hopes to sign a new
contract, as he wishes to stay.
Barcelona have confirmed that Victor Valdez is going
nowhere and he can stay until next summer according to his contract. The
Spanish goalkeeper was very close to leave Camp Nou this summer. Valdez has
told that he will not sign a new contract and wants to experience life outside
Spain. So he may leave as a free agent next year.
Santos goalkeeper Rafael is set to leave the club
after gaining attraction from European clubs. Roma and Inter Milan are targeting
the 23 year old Brazilian. He told that he honestly don't know if this was his
last game for Santos.
Liverpool have officially announced that they have
reached an agreement to sign striker Iago Aspas from Celta Vigo. The fee is
around to be in the region of £7 million. The 25 year old was exceptional for
Celta Vigo last season, scored 12 goals and was involved in their 50% goals.
After the confirmation of Stoke’s keeper Aasmir
Begovic that he will stay at Brittania Stadium. Liverpool are targeting Sunderland
stopper Simon Mignolet. The 25 year old is valued at £9million.
Spanish giants Barcelona are targeting unsettled
Fernando Torres. They are set to offer £17m for Chelsea’s striker, £33m less
than the British record transfer fee that Chelsea paid to Liverpool.
