Kolo Toure who
has played for Arsenal and then Manchester City, is linked with Liverpool in
order to replace Jamie Carragher. He has played 326 games with arsenal and 99
with City. The 32 years old experienced defender will not be more than 12
million euros.
A Schalke
defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos, young talented player. He is only 21 years old
and has made 16 appearances for his national side, Greece. Before Schalke he
was playing for Olympiacos where he made only 13 appearances, but for Schalke
he made 92 appearances and scored 7 goals. It can be a good signing for long
term future plan.
Angelo Ogbonna
another defender approached by Liverpool. Juventus are also interested and
according to several reports they are leading. Angelo Ogbonna is 25 years old
and has appeared 152 times for his team Torino. Arsenal. Manchester United and
Italian club Napoli are also interested in him. The Italian
international defender would be for sale for the right price, which is believed
to be around 12 million euros.

talented teenager Kurt Zouma is playing in French ligue 1 for Saint-Étienne. In
the age of 18 he has played 43 games and has scored 4 goals for Saint-Étienne.
GOALKEEPERS:
Liverpool is
searching for a goalkeeper as rumors going on about Reina’s departure to
Barcelona. Recently 25 years old, Aasmir Begovic currently a stoke player is
being linked. Pepe Reina is a world class keeper as Barcelona wants him. Reina
has saved Liverpool many times in crucial moments. It was a good season for
Reina with 14 clean sheets. Begovic is also a good keeper as he stood 4th
on the clean sheet table with 12 clean sheets. Although Begovic is not a world
class keeper like Reina but if Reina leaves then Begovic will be a good option.
24 years old Ron-Robert
Zieler, he is playing for Hannover. The German player has made 2 appearances
for his national team. For Hannover he has played 114 matches. Currently a
Liverpool target. He will not replace Pepe Reina, but Brad Jones.
