On 25th May, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund will go head to head in the first all German UEFA Champions League final at Wembley. Like in 2001 it was all Spain final, in 2003 Italy and 2008 was for England.

Only once before have two German teams met in the final of a European competition. In 1980, Eintracht Frankfurt won the UEFA Cup beating Borussia Monchengladbach. Jupp Heynckes was the Monchengladbach coach, the present Bayern gaffer.
Bayern stormed their way to reach the final by beating Barcelona 7-0 on aggregate, whereas Dortmund won by a narrow win over Real Madrid, 4-3 on aggregate.
Bayern won all four matches of Quarter and Semi Finals without conceding any goal. They are the fifth team in the history of Champions League to not concede any goals in these rounds.
This will be the last match for the Bayern manager, Jupp Heynckes as he decided to retire.
Jupp Heynckes has won a champions league title with Real Madrid in 1997. And Bayern was runner up under him in 2009.
Bayern has qualified for the final for the third time in 4 years. First against Inter Milan in 2010 and second against Chelsea in 2012. Though they lost both of them, now lets see what will happen.
Bayern could become the first German to win the treble, they have won league, domestic cup and can win Champions league later this week. Last team who won the treble was Inter Milan in 2010.
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 12 goals more than Robert Lewandowski who is with 10 and is followed by Thomas Muller with 8 goals.
Mario Gotze an exciting young player who will be unavailable for the final because of injury, will be going to Bayern in this summer for a fee of 37 million euros. Only Zlatan Ibrahimovic has more assists in this Champions League campaign (7) than Gotze (5).
Neven Subotic and Mats Hummels have been forced into making more clearances than any other players with 133 and 106 in this CPL.
And for interception Javi Martinez is leading the chart with 39 interception followed by Arturo Vidal of Juventus with 44 and then his teammate Bastian Schweinsteiger with 43.
Bayern has scored more headed goals in the Champions League than any other side this season.
Borussia Dortmund has kept just three clean sheets in their last 12 European games.
The last final played at Wembley was between Barcelona and Manchester United in which Barcelona won 3-1 that was one of the last five Champions League finals in which goal ratio was over 2.5 goals.
The match will going to be excited because both are in good form and both matches in Bundesliga resulted in draw, this season. Bayern has won in the German cup against them but with a close victory, 1-0.
Last five meetings between them:
Borussia Dortmund 1-1 Bayern Munich (Bundesliga)
Scorers: Grosskreutz - Gomez
Bayern Munich 1-0 Borussia Dortmund (German Cup)
Scorer: Robben
Bayern Munich 1-1 Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga)
Scorers: Kroos – Gotze
Bayern Munich 2-1 Borussia Dortmund (German Super Cup)
Scorers: Mandzukic, Muller - Lewandowski
Borussia Dortmund 5-2 Bayern Munich (German Cup)
Scorers: Kagawa, Hummels, Lewandowski x3 - Robben, Ribery

Probable Line Ups for the Final;
Bayern:
Neuer, Lahm, Boating, Dante, Alaba, Schweinsteiger, Martinez, Robben, Muller, Ribery and Mandzukic
Dortmund:
Weidenfeller, Piszczek, Hummels, Subotic, Schmelzer, Bender, Gundogan, Reus, Sahin, Blaszczykowski and Lewandowski

My prediction: Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Bayern Munich
