Daniel Sturridge
and Philippe Coutinho both who changed the Liverpool game and proved themselves
that what they really are.
Daniel Sturridge
who started his career from Manchester city, was signed in January with a transfer
fee of £12 million from Chelsea. He was a bench player at Chelsea and wanted
regular football so he signed a contract with Liverpool where he made a real
difference scoring 11 goals and providing 5 assist in just 16 appearances. His
loan spell from Chelsea to Bolton was the main part of his career because he
got the opportunity of regular first team football and scored 8 goals in 12
games. He was also the part of Great Britain team in the London Olympics.
The 23 years old
has won all major trophies with Chelsea including a Premier League, Champions
League and 2 FA Cup trophies.
He proved
himself that he has the capability for becoming a regular player for the club
and the country.
A player who
played for Vasco da Gama before signed by Internazionale (Inter Milan). Philippe
Coutinho arrived in January form Internazionale for a fees around £8.5 million.
He was given the number 10 jersey and later he proved that he deserved to be
the number 10 by his qualities, skills and passion for the club. He scored 3
goals and provided 7 assists in 13 appearances. Not only he helped Liverpool by
scoring or assisting, he also changed the game, added a new style with his
creativity. During his Internazionale career, he was sent on loan to Espanyol where
he developed. He scored 5 goals in 16 games for them. He has played for Brazil
U-17 and U-20 and has only one appearance for the Brazil main team. He is still
20 years old and has a bright future. He has won few trophies in his career which
are;
Campeonato
Brasileiro Série B from Vasco da Gama
Coppa Italia and
Supercoppa Italiana from Inter Milan
South American
U-17 Championship from Brazil U-17
FIFA U-20 World
Cup from Brazil U-20
Both are the good
singings of Rodgers and will help him to reach Liverpool’s destination.
Next year will
be interesting, can’t wait.
