David Beckham retires from football. A sad news for all football lovers.

It is another miserable news for football lovers that David Beckham will be retiring from professional football at the end of season.
This is really the worst year because many legends are retiring including Paul Scholes, Jamie Carragher, Michael Owen and Sir Alex Ferguson.
David Beckham wore different jerseys of diverse clubs and took the club support to the next level. His main career was with Manchester United, where he was groomed, and played 384 matches and scored 80 goals including many extraordinary goals, especially the goal from the half line against Wimbledon in 1996/1997. His second team was Real Madrid, where he played with Zidane, Raul, Luis Ronaldo, Luis Figo and many other football stars. He was signed by the club president Florentino Perez in 2003 and played there for 5 years. After that, he moved to Los Angles in 2007, mainly to conquer American Soccer. He played in US for 6 years and was loaned to AC Milan for six months periods, twice in this duration in 2009 and 2010. His last professional assignment was with Paris Saints German, where he played only for 5 months, Jan to May 2013, and decided to quit football. Recently, he won French League (Ligue 1). He is left with last two games of this season. PSG also offered him a new contract to continue his football but he declined it saying “I'm thankful to PSG for giving me the opportunity to continue but I feel now is the right time to finish my career, playing at the highest level."

Another bad news: DAVID BECKHAM RETIRES

After winning Ligue 1, he became the first English player to win leagues in four countries.
David Beckham was and still regarded as the best free kick taker specifically curling the ball into the goal, with his special technique.
Besides club football, he is one of the most renowned captain of England though he failed to deliver any major cup. He made 115 appearances, scoring 17 goals for his National Team.
Beckham said, "To this day, one of my proudest achievements is captaining my country, I knew every time I wore the Three Lions shirt, I was not only following in a long line of great players, I was also representing every fan that cared passionately about their country.”
He founded David Beckham Academy in London, United Kingdom and in Los Angeles, United States of America.

The 38 year old skipper has won many trophies with different teams such as:
Manchester United: 6 Premier league titles, 2 FA cups, 4 Community Shields and 1 Champions league.
Real Madrid: 1 La Liga and 1 Supercopa de Espana
Los Angeles: 2 MLS Cup and 2 MLS Supporters Shield
Paris Saints German: 1 Ligue
And many individual awards most importantly the PFA young player of the year and England Player of the year.
At the end he said;
"I'm honored to represent England both on and off the pitch. ... I want to thank all my teammates, the great managers that I had the pleasure of learning from. I also want to thank the fans who have all supported me and given me the strength to succeed."

This guy will certainly be missed on football field forever.
