Arsenal have received big injury boost for their star man Alexis Sanchez, according to Daily Mirror.
The Chilean attacker picked up an injury in a Premier League game against Norwich City last weekend.
The former Barcelona attacker picked up a hamstring injury and was quoted to be out for several weeks but the recent updates from Arsenal medical team has revealed that the injury is not serious and the Gunners would be welcoming back soon.
Arsenal failed to pick up all the three points against Norwich as they drew 1 – 1.
The medical team on Monday revealed after the scans that the injury is not severe as it was expected.
Sanchez was forced off in the first quarter of the second half with a big fear of facing a length spell on the sideline. However, now it is good for him as he would be returning within a week and would be taking part in Arsenal tough games especially against Olympiacos next week in the Champions League. Also, the Gunner will be facing Premier League leaders Manchester City on December 21.
The 26-year-old has netted 9 goals in 20 appearances so far this season.
