No Alexandre Pato deal with Liverpool

Premier League outfit Liverpool have reportedly sealed a deal for Alexandre Pato, according to Daily Mail.

Daily Mail claimed that Corinthians President Roberto de Andrade have agreed to sell Pato in the winter window as the Brazilian is looking for a move to Premier League.

However, ESPN reported earlier today that the deal is still not concluded. The Reds new boss Jurgen Klopp is closely monitoring his situation and could be making an offer.

Corinthians President Roberto de Andrade told SporTV“Corinthians have received nothing. Nothing concrete has arrived.”

Pato is currently on a loan deal with Sao Paulo which will end next month, the reports have revealed that the former AC Milan striker is keen to leave his homeland. Several of top sides including Barcelona, Liverpool and Tottenham are alerted with this news.

The 26-year-old has netted 38 goals in 95 games for Sao Paulo since his loan deal in 2014.

The Reds are keeping strong tabs on him but would have to fight Tottenham and Barcelona in order to secure his deal.

Manager Klopp could be making him as his first signing at Liverpool. The boss is keen to bolster his squad once the transfer window opens in January.
