Premier League side Arsenal target Marco Verratti would cost atleast £72million, according to his agent Donato Di Campli.
The Italian midfielder who has been an important figure at Paris Saint Germain has been valued at £72million, as per his agent’s comments.
The Gunners have been keeping tabs on Verratti for the past several months and the reports revealed that the midfielder could be planning to move to the Emirates Stadium.
Midfielder’s agent Di Campli revealed in an interview that £72million would be enough to secure his client’s services.
He told France Football that if City can pay €80 million for Kevin De Bruyne and Paul Pogba has a €100million valuation then Verratti should not be sold for less than £72million.
The 22-year-old who has been at PSG since 2012 has made 131 appearances for the Ligue 1 giants.
The London side have been suffering from injury problems, especially the midfield playere have spent most of the season out on the sideline. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger who targeted several midfielder in the summer window failed to land any of them and could reignite interest in Verratti despite of knowing the demanding transfer fee from the player’s agent.
