Arsenal have suffered a blow from Valencia for their starlet Jose Luis Gaya, according to Metro reports.
But all the interested parties have now suffered a blow as Valencia President Amadeo Salvo said that Luis Gaya will not leave the club this summer.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been monitoring him since the January window and was planning to sign him this summer, however, the recent reports means that the French boss will now have to look for other left-back.
President Amadeo Salvo told that Gaya will sign a new deal soon and will not leave the club despite of strong interest from Real Madrid too.
"Gaya will renew with Valencia, he's not joining Madrid."
The 19-year-old has still three years left on his current contract but is reportedly planning to sign a new long term deal.
The Spanish full-back has £12.9million buyout clause in his current contract but a new deal will take the clause to more than £25million.
Gaya has made 29 appearances in La Liga so far this term.
