Hakan Çalhanoğlu stalling new deal


The reports claimed that Hakan Çalhanoğlu who joined Leverkusen last summer is not yet ready to sign a new deal. His current deal expires in 2019 but the club are offering him an improved deal.

Arsenal have been keeping tabs on the 21-year-old for the past few months and are likely to conclude the deal in the summer.

The Turkish paper claimed that he has rejected to sign new deal at German side Leverkusen and is eyeing for a move to Premier League. The highly rated youngster has been eyed by several top European sides.

The Turkish youngsters is well known for his amazing free kick goals.

Arsenal have a variety of attackers in the squad including Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla but adding another youngster will surely help the Gunners in the future.

He is not only famous for his free kicks but also has the ability to be a complete attacking midfielder if he joins a right club.

He has scored 10 goals in 37 games for the Bundesliga side in all campaigns so far this term. Last season, he scored 11 goals in 38 games for Hamburger.
