The Spanish keeper played 536 games in his 12 years of stay at the Camp Nou. He won six La Liga titles and three Champions League during his time.

It was also reported last month when the Spaniard trained with the United squad. He was offered by Louis van Gaal according to Manchester United official website and it seems he is closing on for a deal. Liverpool were also interested in his services few months ago.

Valdes has been out with an injury but now he is fit and ready to restart his footballing career. The 32-year-old tweeted: “Great training session today. Almost Ready! Thanks for your supportive messages throughout these months. They have helped me a lot!”

It would be a great opportunity for Valdes to spend his time in Premier League before retiring.

While on the other hand, Independent reported that David de Gea who has conceded 14 goals so far in the Premier League might be leaving for Real Madrid soon which means Valdes will be replacing him rather than becoming his back-up.

Real Madrid veteran Iker Casillas is playing his last years at Santiago Bernabeu and De Gea is the perfect man to replace the World Class keeper.
