Sanchez performance hints Ozil departure? The Chilean attacker has scored 10 goals and provided 3 assists in 12 starts. See full Sanchez stats of 14-15 here.

Arsenal new boy Alexis Sanchez is on fire which might make Mesut Ozil's mind to think about his future.

The former Barcelona star is spending his first season at the Emirates and is entertaining both the teammates and the fans.

The north London side signed him in summer for a fee around £35million from Spanish giants Barcelona. He was Barca’s second highest scorer last season and currently the top scorer for the Gunners.

The 25-year-old is currently Arsenal’s best player in the squad. Last year's signing Mesut Ozil is currently out with his injury and is hoping to return soon. However, he would not be getting the importance he used to as Sanchez has definitely taken the front seat.

Ozil might not even get the lineup as he failed to impress in the start of this campaign. It was also suggested that the German might be heading away from Arsenal.

Mesut Ozil joined Arsenal on the deadline day of last year’s summer. The World Cup winner was the record move made by Wenger. Arsenal paid £42.5 million to Real Madrid to hijack his services. Ozil has made 7 appearances so far this season.

Sanchez has clearly won the hearts of Arsenal fans who now don’t think about Ozil, even Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger won’t be giving him a regular spot until he proves.

Even Sanchez has started playing at a central role which means no favourite place for Ozil.

Ozil who is currently resting on the sideline might be planning to leave the Emirates as soon as possible along with his international teammate Lukas Podolski.

  4. Listen to me, Arsenal with Ozil will compete for league title. Arsenal without him would only fight for fourth place

    1. The biggest impact Ozil have in Arsenal is not his own performance, but how he inspire/lift his teammate to perform beyond their ability. That's why with Ozil Arsenal playing as a team with Ramsey, Welbeck, Cazorla and Chambo almost routinely scoring goal. But without Ozil, Arsenal is becoming "one man team" as Sanchez the only player in squad who can score from difficult position.
