According to several reports, Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira is planning to leave the Spanish giants as he has not been provided with the sufficient playing time this season.
The German’s contract will be expiring at the end of the season and has rejected the new offer few months ago.
Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti told clearly few months ago that he is not for sale but with the current situation the midfielder is set to leave in January as he is not getting enough time on the field. He won’t be able to play Champions League game for any side as he has played a part against Liverpool on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old is also ready to accept a wage around £80,000 which might be half of the wage he is earning at Santiago Bernabeu.
While Chelsea are also interested in his services but the World Cup winner is keen to join the Gunners.
Khedira has played 147 games for Madrid since his move in 2010. He has won La Liga, Champions League and other cups.
