4 Strikers that Arsenal can look for after Giroud’s injury. Loic Remy, Danny Welbeck, Edinson Cavani, Radamel Falcao all are the players that Arsenal are targeting.

After Olivier Giroud scored an equaliser against Everton, it was believed that Arsenal will not go for another striker in this transfer window. But this thought was short lived after Arsenal Striker picked up an ankle injury on injury time at Goodison Park. The news became worse for Gunners after it was announced that that the French Striker can be on side-lines for 10-14 weeks. This leave Arsene Wenger short in time to sign his replacement in such a short time period.  The transfer window is coming to an end this Monday so Wenger has to act quickly to sign a Striker before the deadline.

Here are 4 Strikers, Wenger can look for to bring in to Emirates this week.

Loic Remy
Remy was nearly a Liverpool striker until he failed a Medical with Merseyside Club. He was in New York with Liverpool at the time when it was announced that the deal has been collapsed. Remy is a cheap option for Arsenal thanks to a buy-out clause in his contract with current side QPR which allows him to sign for teams in Europe for a mere fee of £8.5 Million. He had an impressive last season at Newcastle where he scored 14 goals and was the Club’s top scorer. Only Giroud scored more goals than Remy (16) in Arsenal squad last season. The French Striker will be a perfect option for Arsene Wenger as far as budget is concerned.

Danny Welbeck
Welbeck is a surprise option emerged for Arsenal in the last few days. Due to his poor relationship with new boss Van Gaal and low price tag, many believes he is the perfect option for Wenger to sign an economical replacement for Giroud. With Arsenal already having Podolski and Yaya Sanogo, Wenger may not be rushed to sign an expensive striker.

Radamel Falcao
The Columbian striker was on fringes on signing for Real Madrid. But due to his high price tag and FIFA Financial Play Rules, it seems now as Real Madrid will not buy him this transfer window. After Monaco’s poor start to league campaign, Falcao can look at this opportunity to sign for Gunners as a ‘Good One’. Wenger has shown intent to spend big so far in this transfer window and he can make a Marquee signing. Arsenal can also take him on temporary basis after the News emerged that Monaco can loan him for 1 season for a hefty fee. And he has all the abilities to solve Arsenal’s striking problems.

Edinson Cavani
Since the start of summer transfer window, the News of Cavani to Arsenal are coming out. The Uruguayan Striker has been linked with English Clubs all summer. After Giroud got injured, it is reported now that Arsenal have re-ignite their interest in the Uruguayan. Arsenal have to break club record fee of £42.5 Million transfer fee but Cavani is all worth it.
