According to SkySports Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy is set to undergo a medical for Liverpool.

Liverpool target Loic Remy is finally set to finalize his move as he has flown to America for a medical where Liverpool are currently enjoying their pre-season tour.

Few days ago it was reported that Liverpool have agreed an £8.5million fee with Queens Park rangers for their French striker and now it is reported that the fee could rise to £11million.

Remy who has already expressed his desire to play for a Champions League club scored 14 goals in 24 starts last season for Newcastle United.

Liverpool squad left for Boston on Sunday for their pre-season tour where they will play Italian side Roma at Fenway Park. It is also believed that Southampton center-back Dejan Lovren will also follow Loic Remy for a medical in Boston.

Southampton boss Ronald Koeman told that he wants Lovren to stay but he if he wants to go then he will go for a top price.

Lovren who has already told that his head is at Liverpool played 31 games for the Saints last season.

Remy and Lovren will become fifth and sixth signings of the summer after Rickie Lambert, Emre Can, Adam Lallana and Lazar Markovic.
