Neymar vs Rodriguez, who will come out on top? vote now! When Brazil and Colombia will take on center stage in, all the limelight will be on two superstars that have carried their team forward.

When Brazil and Colombia will take on center stage in, all the limelight will be on two superstars that have carried their team forward. While Neymar was expected to carry the burden of the whole nation on his shoulders, James Rodriguez was expected to fill in the void created by the un-timely injury of fellow Radamel Falcao. As the world cup has unfolded in front of our eyes, it is now clear that both of them are in the form of their lives.

Neymar vs Rodriguez, who will come out on top?

Goals and assists:
While James Rodriguez has created 2 and scored 5 goals for his side, he is leading the Brazilian slightly as Neymar has scored 4 goals for Luiz Felipe Scolari’s side. One of the advantages in between these two South Americans is the impact they both have on their teams. While Brazil haven’t won a single match in which the Barcelona superstar has failed to score, similar is the case for Colombian side for which James Rodriguez had made a direct impact in 7 out of the 11 goals for the South American side.

While Brazil has a long list of super stars in their teams, Colombians were a little worried before the start of the World Cup as their main man gone missing. However as the above mentioned stats suggests, James Rodriguez has come up with flying colors in the world’s biggest stage.

One more parameter that tells the usefulness of both these players is their ability to convert chances into goals that comes their way. While both of these players have an outstanding ability to convert chances that come their way, it has been shown by the below mentioned stats that undoubtedly it is the World Cup 2014 top goal scorer who has the better share in chance conversion.
If the mere mention of the chance conversion %age is not staggering, than this is the highest chance conversion %age any player has attempted over the top 5 European leagues let alone the World Cup. So there should be a little doubt when FC Monaco are asking Real Madrid to pay 90million Euros for the Colombian wonder kid.

Conclusion:
Keeping in mind the above mentioned stats, it should be said with a little certainty that the Brazilian Neymar has a better chance on collective basis to come out on top. Although Colombia have star players like Jackson Martinez, Juan Quintero and Sanchez in their ranks, the 5 time world Champions in Brazil have more fire power in their ranks than their South American neighbors. And if the goal scoring charts of both of these players have to remain intact even after the match, we should expect a end-to-end stuff at Estádio Castelão, Fortaleza on 4th July.
