Chelsea are set to sign Atletico Madrid full back Filipe Luis as they have announced that the agreement has been reached between both the clubs.

Luis will move to Stamford Bridge soon to discuss personal terms. He will join his Atletico Madrid teammate Diego Costa who recently completed his move to Chelsea. The fee reportedly is in the region of £20million for Luis.
The 28-year-old had an incredible season with the La Liga side as they won La Liga after 18 years plus stood runner up in the Champions League campaign.
Atletico Madrid revealed official statement: “Atletico Madrid and Chelsea have reached an agreement to transfer the rights of Filipe Luis, pending a medical with the English club.”
They further added that their player expressed his desire to play for Chelsea at the end of last season.
Chelsea do need a left-back as Ashley Cole joined Italian side Roma on a free transfer few weeks ago plus they played right-back Cesar Azpilicueta on the left side last season but with the arrival of Luis, Azpilicueta will move back to his favourite right side place.
The Brazilian left-back has played 180 games since his move to the Spanish side in 2010.
