Gareth Bale is confident that he can show better performances after getting close to his full fitness for the first time since his move to Real Madrid from Tottenham.
The most expensive player moved to Real Madrid from Spurs in the summer for a deal believed to be in the region of eighty five million pounds. Spurs bought him in ten million pound from Southampton in 2007.
Bale has made a great start to his new life in Spain, he has netted three goals and assisted five times in seven La Liga appearances.
The Welshman believes that the fans should wait to see his top performances as he gets closer to his fitness.
He told Real Madrid TV that the best is still to come and he has just completed his pre-season and he has the capability to give even more. After getting back to full fitness he will be able to score more goals and help the club to achieve their objectives.
He further added that it was just a matter of time until he got to hundred percent. Now everyone knows his capability. He needs to keep working hard and hopefully he will provide more goals to the team.
The 24 year old winger is displaying good football in Spain but still he admits he is still some way off obscuring the talents of Portugese star man Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 28 year old’s hat-trick against Real Sociedad at the weekend takes his goal tally to twenty four in just seventeen games for Real Madrid in all competitions this season, and Bale revealed that he is a big fan of him.
He told that Ronaldo is incredible, he scores hat-trick almost in every game. It is a pleasure to play with such player.
